Dear America
Dear America,
We have loved you since we were old enough to speak your name, to salute your flag, to sing of your majestic mountains, your purple plains, your shining seas.
We loved you enough to fight for you – for you to become a country free from tyranny and religious persecution, free from unfair taxation – to become a union of independent states. There is no doubt that Americans, especially Southerners, are fighters. Our preference should be only to enter conflicts and to fight wars over real threats to your national security.
All you have done is lie to us! You created an illusion of an America that we were taught to love with such a patriotic fervor we would sacrifice our sons upon its alter.
We believed we had to fight against family and friends to save you from being forever torn apart in a Civil War. You lied! It was never really about slavery; it was about money and centralized power to control an entire culture which you loathed. It was about creating and driving a narrative of “equality” – an impossible feat in a nation of unequal peoples – through the passing of the 14th Amendment as a condition for the South to regain representation.
When it was claimed that ships said to be carrying your people were attacked, three years into World War I, we sent our sons to fight in one of the bloodiest carnages in history; you refuse to tell us why that war began in the first place, and the story keeps changing. It was all lies.
You said, twenty years later, we must send our sons to fight Hitler’s Nazis and his allies when Pearl Harbor in the U.S. Territory of Hawaii was bombed in a “surprise attack.” It was years later that we learned that your partnership with the Federal Reserve Banks and Wall Street funded Hitler’s side of that war. Come to find out that President Roosevelt’s Secretary of Defense, Henry Stimson, in his diary, documented that Roosevelt “wished to be at war with Japan but that he did not want it to appear that the United States fired the first shot.” It was all lies!
Even though the Soviet Union had a pivotal role in defeating Hitler’s Germany in WWII, their presence in the new country of North Korea, above the 38th Parallel, somehow was a threat to you, so you declared war upon that country too, in 1950. Once again, we complied and sent our sons to die for you – for what? Not one inch of ground was gained in seventy years of war. All lies?
The travesty of The War in Vietnam will forever stain our relationship, America! Over fifty-six thousand young men and women died … for nothing! And you acted like it was no big deal that the greatest military on Earth was soundly defeated and forced to flee from the roof of the Saigon embassy. You did not fight to win! You fought to keep lying!
What citizen doesn’t remember the “weapons of mass destruction” which required us, once again, to sacrifice our men and women – for what? Iraqi Oil? Arms Sales? Who knows, really. You lied us into that war too. Oh, and Afghanistan. Same old same old. You never intended to win; only to fight. Your lies are getting old.
And now you have pushed Russia into war using Ukraine as a proxy. Russia is literally fighting Nazi groups who you protected, funded, and nurtured. Ukrainian Nazis, who for eight years have targeted, attacked, and brutally murdered their own countrymen! Oh, the lies you have told!
You have destroyed countless countries, caused countless deaths and immeasurable destruction, through your coordination of intelligence agencies and non-governmental organizations within those countries. You have caused the deaths of millions of innocent people, including both Americans and foreign citizens through use of our military whose “task was protecting freedom”; first of the thirteen colonies and then of the several united states.
You lied to our servicemen and women, and you lied to their families in order to enter every war we have fought for you. You continue to lie. You have NO SHAME!!!
If Lucifer is the father of lies, you are the mother - dear America!
